About Panacean
The word Panacean is defined as a remedy for all ills or difficulties - A Cure All. This definition reflects the motivation and mission of Panacean’s founders,
Eric Gray and Phanerrica Muhammad, BSN, RN, PCCN.

Eric Gray is a serial entrepreneur whose experience encompasses a variety of industries. Mr. Gray's inspiration to launch Panacean spawned from a speech made by the Former Governor of Pennsylvania, Edward G. Rendell, during the 2016 Liberty Medal ceremony honoring John Lewis. The Governor's speech emphasized the importance of civic education and the positive long-term impact that civic education has on all Americans. Mr. Gray reflected on the Governor's speech and committed to increasing civic education and awareness amongst the youth he felt most needed - the underserved.

Phanerrica Muhammad is a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of clinical experience. She has dedicated her career to caring for patients and families impacted by cancer diagnoses. Her experiences inspired her to identify a way to make a greater impact. In addition to serving as the co-founder of Panacean, Ms. Muhammad also volunteers for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and is a founding board member for the Esophageal Cancer Support Group of Philadelphia.
